I am a logistics and Freight Forwarding professional with over 20 years of experience in customer service, key account management, containerization, project planning, Order management, air freight, and Freight Forwarding operations. I am well versed in SCM Operations too. I am now a Logistics Consultant. In this role, I shall help companies lower their logistics costs, improve efficiency, plan a logistics strategy and marketing campaign, advice on SCM operations and offer Back End operations such as documentation - typing of Bill of Lading - and invoicing.

Review supply chain operations and recommend cost-effective solutions to improve logistical processes and to identify strengths and weaknesses. I was in charge of Account Management and Customer Service. I was Head of Department for Sea Export - Chennai. I validated and was authorised to sign the House Bill of Lading Helped increase the Department's profitability by negotiating good rates with the ocean liners. I was the single point of contact for all sea export shipments for Tamil Nadu and in this capacity handled Order Management, Coordinated with upstream supply chain companies to ensure products arrived in time at the destination. I also had to plan ocean exports for Key Accounts from Tuticorin port. Along with our Colombo office, successfully planned Multi-Country Consolidated shipments from Tuticorin and Chennai. I prepared the monthly vessel schedule and Sea Export Rates for Tuticorin and Chennai offices.
I was the supply chain coordinator for Piaggio shipments. I planned all of DSV's sea export consolidated shipments/containers, and LCL, FCL shipments for Chennai. Adeptly handled approximately 100 of inbound calls per day,answered 100-125 emails per day. Handled Vestas project shipment from Chennai to Spain. Typed House Bill of Lading, Overseas and Local Invoices. Filed US AMS Submitted Master Bill of Lading instructions through the company's ERP. Assisted in Deep Sales. Ensured 95% accuracy on the company's ERP - Cargowise EDI. I supported the Tuticorin, Hyderabad, and Bangalore branches, which was an additional responsibility. Achievements: I was given a letter of commendation by a company called Phocos.
Assisted Ocean Freight Manager in both the management and development of a team of 6 staff in Chennai and ensured that the company's Standard Operating Procedures were followed by a sub-agent in Tuticorin. I was in charge of the sea Export Documentation. Carried out critical planning to improve day-to-day operations. Planned consolidated containers to the USA from Tuticorin and consolidated containers to Vancouver, Canada from Chennai. Helped plan Shipper's Own Containers from Chennai,India to Nur-Sultan,Kazahstan via Qingdao,China.
