• Designed and implemented an Investment Forum for branch builds, allocating over US$200 million in capital expenditure. • Created and delivered the first HSBC ATM strategy covering all markets globally and creating savings of up to US$60 million. • Developed the definition of a Wealth Centre which holds a critical role of the future delivery of HSBC wealth strategy. • Created and piloted market performance and commercialisation calls to address gaps in Branch performance and directly connected markets together to enable the execution of sustainable growth models. • Pivoted the existing 29,000 Branch Staff into a commercial execution roles and delivery through re training and role changes.
• Managed all Risk & Control matters for a business with US$1 billion revenue & US$195 billion AUM. • Reduced Very High, High and Medium-rated Self-Identified, Audit and Regulatory issues by 54% above the average of 5-10%. • Improved overall control effectiveness to 99% across both owned and outsourced controls against a plan of 95%. • Improved employee engagement by 27%. • Primary liaison and contact for regulators: OCC, SEC, FINRA & Federal Reserve of Chicago. • Restructured the Chief Operating Officer & Chief Control Officer target operating models which allowed for better business coverage and engagement with second and third lines of defence and resulted in savings of US$5 million
