As Competition Director I was working closely together with the Project Manager from the Atletiekunie, the team from TIG sports, the European Athletics Delegates and the staff from European Athletics Office. I was directing together with the Competition Management team the competition (secretariat), athletes, judges, officials, sport facilities, timetable, presentation in the stadium, medal ceremonies, anti-doping control and medical facilities for athletes.

Member of the works council. First at DSM (also member of the Central Workscouncil), later also at Lanxess. In the last period I was the deputy chair of the council. During the acquisition process from DSM to Lanxess I was chairman of the committee monitoring the process on behalf of the Central Works council of DSM and on behalf of all employees involved.
