The Technology Quality Manager role is to ensure that the outputs of Energy Technology meet the objectives of the business. Ensuring the technical quality of Technologies, Tools and Services developed in Energy Technology globally - Author of the Technology Project stage gate model - Review of project plans, business cases, verification and validation strategies and commercial deployment (transfer from R&D to Business As Usual) - Escalation point for technical issues on Technology projects - Defined the acceptance criteria for technical aspects of new Products & Services in the Energy Business for commercial deployment Commercial contact in Energy Technology for the Research Collaboration Agreements, Joint Industry Projects related agreements and Non-Disclosure Agreements - Review and negotiate IP clauses to ensure access to joint IP to enable commercialisation - Review contractual risks associated with technical aspects of the project - Ensure appropriate exit clauses are built into the agreements - Work closely with Group Legal Represented Technology in the Energy Technology Governance Board, a group consisting of Technical Leadership of all Service Lines within the Energy Business Streams. Its role is to provide the overall technical governance of all technical work and deliverables to clients in the Energy Business Stream. With the consequence of the lower oil prices, supported the business in rationalising the cost of Technology projects * Built a detailed project cost tracking and forecasting mechanism to compensate for the inability of existing financial tools to perform this task * Generated visibility which enabled prioritisation of portfolio and reduction from about 225 projects to around 75 * Ensured there is a clear business case and ROI assessment for all projects and tracking of actual ROI achieved after commercialisation. Mentor and coach for staff of all seniority on effective execution of technology projects.

Responsible for Advanced Technology development in Electrical Conversion for wind turbine drive train systems, Electrical Delivery which is the plant design and plant electrical performance and compliance and Plant Diagnostics. Managed a team located in Singapore, Aarhus (Denmark) and Houston (US).
Responsible for research in Drivetrain Technologies for Vestas. This includes the full drivetrain including mechanical and electrical components. Managed a team in Singapore as well as engineers located in Houston and Boston.
