Applying Milgro’s methodology and technology to help Tesla’s operations become circular. Through our data and insights, I develop resource management solutions to enable clients to get grip on waste flows, wastage and eventually raw materials. Furthermore, I setup, maintain and expand the waste network of our clients in order to achieve profitable sustainability.
Milgro is the market leader in waste and raw materials management and operates at the heart of the circular economy. As a leading technological and outsourcing partner, Milgro takes over the integral waste management process from its clients and takes responsibility for better cost, environmental and raw material performance. My role within Milgro is to support Tesla EMEA in their operations, utilizing our big data platform to achieve more sustainable results whilst cutting down costs. Moreover, I aim to support both Milgro and Tesla in their continuous international growth ambitions.
Got promoted to lead the launch and roll-out of the new Innovators Community and Innovation Challenge. Both platforms have the goal to generate, share, and realize new ideas that our team can shape and scale to new products in collaboration with the markets. - Led a cross-functional team of eight, together responsible for launching the new Innovators Community. This became the largest HEINEKEN platform in terms of user base and is used across nearly all markets worldwide; - Co-developed the new design for the global Innovation Challenge and coordinated the first two challenges (10,000+ participants); - Supervised the first ‘Drop the C’ project, HEINEKEN’s sustainability program; - Supported in the setup of the Innovators Brewhouse, HEINEKEN's open innovation space.
Internationally focussed full-time internship in HEINEKEN's Front End Innovation team. Our team focussed on the initial phase of innovation: generating new ideas and bringing these to life, thereby exploring new and disruptive spaces. My main responsibility as Innovators Community Manager was the internal innovation platform which enables all HEINEKEN employees to innovate. Furthermore, I helped transition to a new platform, working on matters such as UX, information architecture, and content transition. Lastly, I supported in our open innovation activities.
Internationally focused part-time job (during my MSc MI) at the Erasmus University Rotterdam, aimed to internally innovate EUR to a more international university. As central authority, we challenged and supported the faculties to internationalize their offerings such as curricula, work environments, and communications. Personal activities included qualitative/quantitative desk research, event organization, and web development.
Additional part-time responsibility during my MSc MI aimed to represent my study programme to prospective students. As a Master ambassador of the RSM’s Recruitment and Admissions Office, I represented RSM's Master Degree in Innovation Management towards potential future students. I was present at information sessions on campus to give presentations about the programme and to answer all sorts of questions. Furthermore, I represented the Master programme on Facebook and I met with students from over the whole world to discuss any programme related topic and to show them around the campus. Lastly, I was also responsible for Skype-sessions with newly admitted students to help them prepare for the Master's programme.
Internationally focused full-time internship at TomTom’s automotive department. Initiated opportunity awareness within TomTom by establishing market intelligence portal, significantly improved alignment of sales and product management by creating product marketing management portal, and helped create several account strategies for companies such as Volkswagen and Ford.
