With almost ten years of experience in education, I am a devoted Senior Lecturer who is well-known for motivating and mentoring students in computer and software engineering. Academic Contributions: AI Research: My research focus in Artificial Intelligence has resulted in several published works that contribute to the growing understanding of AI applications in real-world scenarios. Lectures & Curriculum Development: I design and deliver engaging lectures that incorporate recent research and industry trends, covering various software-related topics such as AI, machine learning, and emerging technologies. Lab Manual Creation: I’ve developed comprehensive lab manuals that provide hands-on learning experiences, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. Final Year Project (FYP) Supervision: Guiding FYP students through their research journeys has been one of the most rewarding aspects of my career. I take pride in mentoring students to conceptualize, develop, and present innovative projects that often address real-world challenges. Technical Coordination & Expertise: As a Technical Coordinator at SSURJET, I leverage my expertise to ensure that educational resources and technical infrastructure support high-quality learning. My commitment extends to optimizing LMS platforms like Moodle, ensuring seamless course delivery and enhancing student engagement.
As the Vice Chair of IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) Karachi Section, my role focuses on: . Organizing technical workshops, seminars, mentorship programs, and networking events to foster professional growth and knowledge sharing as I already did in as an Advisor of IEEE SSUET WIE. . Building partnerships with academia, industry, and other IEEE sections to enhance opportunities for women engineers. . Assisting in setting the vision and strategic direction for IEEE WIE Karachi Section, ensuring alignment with IEEE's mission of empowering women in STEM.
My role as an Advisor involves providing strategic guidance and mentorship to the team in planning and implementing impactful initiatives. I am committed to fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and inclusivity, empowering women in engineering and technology to excel in their respective fields. Additionally, I oversee the society’s activities to ensure they align with IEEE’s vision and objectives, while supporting the team in achieving milestones and making a meaningful impact on the community.
