Career in urban design and consulting for the public and private sector has enabled Nicolás to develop a solid understanding of issues related to consulting, planning, managing and development, growth management, comprehensive and master planning, as well as economic feasibilities studies. A lateral thinking planner, Nicolás possesses strong project management with multidisciplinary and international leadership skills, proactive and focus on result. Nicolás Serenelli completed a degree in Architecture and Urbanism at the University of Cordoba, Argentina. His architect thesis developed an architectural project for the Expo Zaragoza, analyzing the potential and values of big events as catalyses for green and brown field development in the cities. After graduating, he worked for two years in an Argentinean construction and design company, followed by two years as Team Coordinator and Project Manager of international urban master planning at Duany Plater Zyberk Latin America (DPZ-LA) in projects in Guayaquil, Ecuador, and in several master plan projects in Brazil, Panama and Argentina. Nicolás Serenelli graduated as a Master of Science in Infrastructure and Urban Planning at the University of Stuttgart in December 2012. As a research assistant with the Institute of Landscape Planning and Ecology at the University of Stuttgart, he enhanced his knowledge of urban planning in developing countries. His thesis assessed the urban, transport and architectural criteria for cities bidding to host the summer Olympic Games. Nicolás Serenelli worked as a Consultant Project Manager in Urban Development for five years and a half at Drees & Sommer gathering experience in different big areas developments and master plans. Since the beginning of 2019 as the Senior Expert in the Master planning development for the Landside areas at the Stuttgart Airport. His international background and expertise is particularly useful in the fields of site development, master planning, market analysis and for international projects exploring financing and management models and alternatives to guide towards sustainable developments while responding the demands of a constant changing market.
