Managing a small team and ensuring ab10.com is marketed and updated regularly. Various duties include: COMMUNICATION Leading a small team running AB10.com, ensuring all work is managed and completed to tight deadlines. Communicating with management from other departments. Liaising with graphic and marketing teams from fashion brands that we sell stock of, ensuring all graphics are up to date. MARKETING I have the responsibility of being in charge of social media for AB10. I use this to promote new brands, and items appropriate to season changes and events, as well as behind the scenes photos to engage customers more on a personal level. Creating and implementing marketing campaigns to be used on the AB10 homepage, as well as creating promotions to be printed and implemented in store. GRAPHIC DESIGN/EDITING My skills in Adobe Photoshop are used for editing photographs of products to be used for the website. Regular updates to the website’s homepage are essential, which often requires new promotion banners and graphics to be created using Adobe Photoshop. These are then uploaded using Visual Soft Commerce. ADMIN DUTIES Admin duties include using software such as Team Viewer and Microsoft Word and Excel to create brand stock reports for checking all products for uploading online, and ensuring all photographs are taken for each product. I use Visual Soft Commerce to write product descriptions using SEO and meta data skills for each item that is photographed, and authorizing all content before it is uploaded onto the website. PHOTOGRAPHY Regular photo-shoots are required, to enable the website to be updated daily with all the new products. My role is to organise the shoot, which includes styling, and preparing outfits to be photographed, and arranging models to come in for the shoot.
My role is to style the mannequins throughout the store, and display props and graphics. Over the last couple of months M&S Aberdeen has been transforming into a concept store, where my main role has been installing brand new mannequins, each unique to their M&S sub-brand, displaying graphics, and styling props that showcase M&S products in a whole new way to other high street stores.
