- Development & implementation of a company-wide sustainability strategy, monitoring & reporting - Development of business partnerships with new and existing suppliers in origin countries with a focus on organic and fair-trade supply chains, including on-site supplier assessments - Management of sustainability projects implemented together with partners in the field - Supplier Management: Implementation of a social and environmental due diligence process for all suppliers to increase supply chain transparency - Compliance-assurance with all sustainability standards - Leading the internal, cross-functional sustainability team - Representation of the company in expert bodies
- Development of coffee and cocoa value chains based on long-term partnerships with producers in origin countries, fieldwork in West Africa, Turkey and Latin America - Leading sustainable sourcing projects with local partners, incl. M&E & support of sustainability marketing (cocoa, coffee, hazelnuts, mangos) - Co-development of the sustainability strategy - Support of the strategy implementation with decentralized, cross-functional teams, incl. yearly monitoring & reporting process - Management of processes for certification & compliance with sustainability and traceability standards - Representation of the company in expert bodies
