The School Administrative Manager is responsible for the efficient management of school financial and administrative systems, as well as supervision and training of school administration officers. Manages the provision of support for school activities and routines, including student welfare and wellbeing, and works with the school principal, the school executive and teaching staff as required.
A School Administrative Officer provides administrative, financial and student welfare/wellbeing support and assistance in relation to office and classroom activities, including but not limited to the following school settings: the office, sick bay, library, science laboratory, and food technology/kitchen areas.
I was employed employed at the Sydney Football Stadium & the Sydney Cricket Ground, through Delaware North Company (DNC) previously the company was All Leisure part of the Compass Group. I am employed as a Casual Functions Supervisor and Food and Beverage Attendant. During the Cricket I work in the Press Room, during the NRL, The Soccer, The Rugby Union & the Swans I worked in the Functions rooms such as the Alan Davidson Room, Randwick Room or Paddington Room or Members Dining in an Ala Carte Restaurant. I also worked in the Suites Boxes.
I was employed at the Australian Turf Club (ATC), Randwick as a casual Function & Events Staff & Supervisor. On race days I work & supervise in various functions in the members areas, I also worked in the Committee Room for the Board of Directors, when it was open, serving them a five course lunch & afternoon tea. I have also looked after the Press Room, & Stewards. I also work and train staff during set-ups, functions, conferences, bar & tray service, back of house, barista, BBQ’s, lawn & cocktail parties, formal lunches & dinners ranging from 20 to 1000 people, working with the Managers & also supervising staff.
Whilst the renovations were on at the ATC, and there was no work on, I took a 6 month contract at Canterbury Hursltone Park RSL as a Functions and Events Supervisor on a Part-time to full time basis. Whilst there, I Trained in a different side of Hospitality and more of the Administration side of the business. I implemented and monitored WHS policies, procedures and programs. As the club is an RTO, I trained new staff whilst they were completing their courses. I promoted team effectiveness. I also was involved in the Sales and Marketing of the business, by promoting our products and services, addressing the customers needs and building client relations, this way we would have repeat customers. We offered Weddings, Conferences, Functions, Birthdays, School Formals, meetings, and a lot of Intra Club Meetings and events within the Club and the Sub Committees. Whilst catering for guests up to 450. During this time, I would be involved in meetings, quoting and booking the event, ordering of equipment, rostering of staff, co-ordinating the functions.
I was employed at Parliament House through Parliamentary Catering on a Permanent Casual Basis as a Dining Room Attendant working in the Ala Carte Restaurant looking after the Ministers of State and Local Government. I also did set ups & worked in functions for government organisations. Due to Budgetary Cuts, all the casual pool were dismissed and agency staff are now being used.
