I recently graduated from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor of Science in Child Development and have three years of experience working as a Medical Assistant in an outpatient medical practice. Throughout my experience, I have supported both the clinical and administrative aspects of patient care, including patient intake, vital signs, point-of-care testing, referrals, prior authorizations, and electronic health record documentation. Working in healthcare has strengthened my ability to communicate effectively, adapt in fast-paced environments, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support positive patient outcomes. I value the opportunity to work directly with patients while contributing to the coordination and delivery of high-quality care. I am currently seeking opportunities to continue developing my clinical experience and contribute to a patient-centered healthcare team.
