Forecasted demand, allocated inventory and planned reorders using Retek Demand Forecasting Software. Tracked sales trends from the regional level down to the store/sku level, anticipated seasonal and promotional builds, optimized underperforming inventory through targeted markdown strategies. Also participated in focus group for reengineering company pipeline new process rollout. As Distribution Planner, managed the highest sales volume department, women’s pants. Successfully managed two Distribution Analyst direct reports to a promotion to Distribution Planner within a year. Rolled out Supply Chain Workshop for BR Distribution as part of Training and Development Team. Created a Distribution Community Board on the GAP Intranet for Distribution, Store Planning and Logistics to share calendar and store information.
As Product Manager, managed growth of department from shipping 30,000 units to 300,000 units a month. Tracked sales, creating selling reports, forecasted sales and ordered inventory, created closeouts for aging inventory. As Production Supervisor, managed new manufacturing department. Provided creative input, participated in forecasting trends, assisted costume jewelry and other departments. Sourced stones, beads, findings, and other raw materials.
