I’m someone who enjoys making things run smoothly behind the scenes whether that’s helping a colleague navigate a purchasing process, improving a clunky system or keeping day-to-day operations on track. In my role as a Senior Business Services Officer, I sit at the intersection of Business Services and Procurement. I’m the go-to person for purchasing queries, and I genuinely enjoy breaking down policies and processes into practical, easy-to-follow guidance that people can actually use. I’m big on doing things the right way, ensuring compliance with VGPB policies and internal requirements, while still keeping things efficient and user-friendly. My work goes beyond procurement into broader business services including facilities, security, fleet and office operations. I like having that variety and the opportunity to work with different stakeholders, suppliers and teams across the organisation. Whether it’s coordinating a service request, managing records, or contributing to reporting and improvements, I take a hands-on and detail-oriented approach. I’m naturally organised, approachable and solutions-focused. I take pride in being someone people can rely on, not just to get things done but to make processes clearer and easier along the way.
