I am an experienced and creative Senior Research Scientist with a passion for Drug Discovery and its associated challenges. I have applied my drug design and medicinal chemistry expertise on areas such as pain, neurodegenerative diseases, oncology and PET ligands. Lead Chemist for Pain project in early Hit to Lead phase Supervision of a team of 2 chemists and collaboration with team of synthetic chemists in Asia
Design and discovery of small molecules to deliver clinical candidate for Neurodegenerative Disease. In charge of team of 2-5 research chemists. Developed strong knowledge of DMPK and Toxicology principles whilst bringing new chemical entities through the flowscheme. Worked in both Target to Hit and Hit to Candidate phases.
