Founder of PER:SPECTRUM, specialising in consultancy, supervision and further training for mental health care professionals working in the field of early intervention in autism. Principal research interests focus on the dyadic development of emotion regulation in early infancy, the art of building facilitative therapeutic relationships with young autistic children through play, and on developing autism-specific video intervention methodologies for professionals working with parents and families. In recent years, my work has increasingly focused on the adaptation of specialist early intervention for online and blended delivery. This includes remote video-based intervention, live coaching, parent-mediated early intervention and the translation of specialist clinical thinking into accessible formats for families and professionals. This body of work also informs the development of AMICA, a planned UK-based social innovation in remote, parent-mediated early autism support.
Developing the clinical and organisational foundations for AMICA, a planned UK-based social innovation in remote, parent-mediated early autism support.
