About

As a cell biologist and molecular parasitologist, I aim at linking the investigation of fascinating biological phenomena with medical relevance. My team is investigating the molecular mechanisms intra-erythrocytic malaria parasites employ to monitor their (micro-) environment and how parasites manage to translate this information into appropriate cellular responses.
