Managing Director of the Business. Main responsibilities are the Financial Management, Personnel Management, Manufacturing Facility, Execution of XRT Mineral Sorting Projects, with a correctly sized staff complement for the task. A Business Systems implementation (ERP) was one of the key drivers for Business and Projects successes.
Business Consulting, Business and Project Management. The focus in the beginning was hands-on Project Management of a multimillion Dollar Dredge Project. This is a solid Engineering Project ranging from Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering through to the Control Engineering aspects. Several modular Plants were built for materials handling with XRT Sorting facilities in the Diamond Mining industry. Simultaneously during this period, an analysis, and design of the main end-to-end Business Process for Imilingo were undertook and deployed in the business. This also required an alignment with the relevant technology enablement software’s. General Management of the Business as well as Programme Management of the various projects formed part of the main responsibilities.
The Principal Consultant on several business initiatives at BRL. Firstly, performed Business Analysis on the business processes for the digital device deployment project for the Gauteng Department of Education. Secondly, Program / Project and People Change Management for the Warehouse Management System (WMS) Implementation and Integration with the ERP System. Thirdly, designed, built, and implemented a Production Facility to do aggregation of laptop and tablet devices with teacher and learner profiles, digital media and e-books. This involved a lot of People Change. Fourthly, analyzed, optimized, and documented all the end-to-end Business Process for BRL.
Project Manager for the Customer Interaction Centre (CIC) Rollout Projects in the Company on a short term bases. These CIC Projects involved mainly the deployment of Call Centre Management Software with the chosen functions bought by the various customers. In parallel to being a PM the Company processes where analysed and aligned to fit for purpose End to End processes to ensure optimal functioning between departments. The umbrella project was the design and development of a new Business Operating Model with an accompanying Strategy for deployment. Setup of a PMO Office in collaboration with Project Portfolio Office (PPO) where initiated.
