About

I grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and knew I wanted to be a meteorologist ever since the 4th grade and stuck to it ever since. I received magna cum laude at The Ohio State University in Atmospheric Sciences in 2023 completing my bachelor's degree. During my time at Ohio State, I received a summer internship at CW3E at The Scripps Institute of Oceanography researching about the MJO and it's affects on precipitation in a warming climate in the western United States. It was my very first research experience and I really enjoyed it, so I accepted a position as the Associate Director of Scalia Labs at Ohio University. I am in my second year as a graduate student managing the Scalia team and social media, forecasting for Scalia, and teaching two meteorology classes. I am working under director and professor Dr. Ryan Fogt researching about whether SIE is entering a new state from atmosphere dominated to ocean dominated from the recent record lows in the last five years. I am thrilled with my experiences at OU as I graduated with my masters degree in Meteorology. Can't wait for what the future holds!
