I’m a computer science student with interests in software engineering and data science, focused on building reliable systems and learning how data can drive better decisions. I enjoy working through complex problems and turning abstract ideas into practical solutions. At UC Santa Cruz, I balance academics with leadership and hands-on experience, including serving as a Resident Assistant and participating in a school-affiliated, course-based internship with the Overture Maps Foundation. These roles have strengthened my ability to collaborate, take ownership, and adapt in both technical and people-facing environments. Outside of work, you can find me at the gym, trying local food spots, binging Netflix shows, and exploring new technology through personal coding projects. I value seeking knowledge, consistency, and pushing myself to grow through new challenges.

Developed an open-source pipeline combining YOLOv8 street-view door detection with a ResNet-18 satellite CNN fallback detection, increasing entrance coverage from 5.8% to 56% across a 500-point national ground-truth dataset. Presented findings to engineers and leadership from sponsor companies including Meta, Amazon, Microsoft, Niantic, and TomTom.
