Ever since, I’ve spent my career helping others with their marketing. My years of marketing experience span from the music industry, SMB's, and higher education to several tech industry companies. Human interactions boil down to communication and relationships. Everyone has something to communicate to someone, or several someones, in order to form a relationship (trust) that leads to a value exchange. As humans, we all want to showcase our true authentic selves to be seen, heard and recognized for our unique contributions. Nick Venturella Endeavors LLC provides individuals & brands with tools, tactics & creative output to drive connection that grows fans & income. -Mindset products -Marketing services -Music products and services Mindset - The GrowLoop Journal helps individuals overcome burnout, imposter syndrome and other mental blocks (great for business teams/employee engagement) Marketing - Provide freelance marketing coaching & consulting for B2B tech and local business professionals to drive outcomes for sales/marketing and customer advocacy efforts. Music - Perform as a solo singer/songwriter (guitar/vocals - folk/rock) throughout the upper Midwest. Primarily perform on college campuses, small clubs/restaurants, coffeehouses and other Arts-oriented alternative venues. License songs for sync purposes, and build and sell artistic, 1-of-a-kind upcycled guitars from discarded materials and old guitar parts. Accomplishments: • Keeping old guitars and discarded materials out of landfills by reusing them to create unique upcycled guitars that I build and sell on my Etsy shop (http://nickVguitars.com) • Entered the world of sync music in 2020 creating multiple instrumental and singer/songwriter compositions specifically to ad/TV/film music briefs. • Independently wrote, recorded, produced, distributed and sold 11 different original solo music album projects (so far, more to come) as well as several more with other bands • Performed hundreds of shows at various venues throughout the upper Midwest • Share thought-leadership knowledge and experience building brand communities and fan/customer advocacy (GrowLoop.com) • In 2010, published a music marketing and mindset book for independent musicians, "The Local Music Journey" (http://bit.ly/2dzeEgx) • Served on a higher education Music Business Program Advisory Committee (2010 - 2011). • Served on the Dane County Cultural Affairs Music Grant Advisory board (2010 - 2012)
As a full-time contractor for Workday I’m responsible to help drive ongoing customer engagement in their scaled customer advocacy program, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to create advocacy content that extracts VoC feedback, sentiment, and affinity to allow Workday to better partner with its customers for the mutual benefit of all involved. What that looks like for our customers is that they get... • Personalized, curated content for their role in one place • The chance to converse with peers to share strategic solutions and grow their professional network • Opportunities to share their product expertise, thought-leadership and success promoted by Workday to grow their personal brand and enhance their employer's brand. Accomplishments: • I’ve been able to help our Customer Advocacy team grow our program membership 8x from my start date. • I helped refine a net new reference customer identification process in our 1:many advocacy program that now accounts for over 70% of net new reference customers. • With consistent customer advocacy engagement strategies and execution I helped our team drive and track over 3500 customer acts of advocacy since I started my role. • I led a cross-functional effort between the internal Social team and our Customer Advocacy team to grow customers’ personal brands to gain wider Workday brand amplification from customers sharing Workday content across their own social networks. The number of customers opting in to participate in this program has grown 40% in four months.
Was one of the original three co-founders of Eleven, which helps serious musicians build a sustainable music career. Eleven provides musicians with valuable knowledge, tools, support, and opportunities to advance their music career as musician entrepreneurs. This was accomplished through one-on-one coaching and content. Accomplishments: • Helped build a global, musician's business-first brand that has helped hundreds of musicians via online content and professional coaching. • Helped bootstrap Eleven to profitability from scratch in a little over 2 years.
