• Assist branch head with administration and operations of a 7-person team; lead project management duties for the team’s primary objective of annually publishing a 5-year training plan that includes over 1,400 courses for more than 32,000 Marine Corps service members. • Led annual conferences by communicating with 80+ agencies, leading conference sessions, and drafting post-conference reports that summarized a 5-year training plan for 1,400 courses serving 32,000+ personnel. • Wrote, edited, and published advance communications that supported the long-range planning requirements of 80+ DoN agencies participating in annual conferences. • Ensured 10-person team’s individual travel and lodging complied with DoD regulations for responsible expense account use. Resulted in 100% approved expenses and individual reimbursement. • Developed internal controls that accommodated complex Department of Defense (DoD) travel regulations and travel management software limitations, while also removing administrative obstacles to 32,000 Marines’ training.
• Develop temporary support procedures that allow new personnel to continue immersive training despite a declared health emergency; supervise and counsel a 30-person team’s implementation and execution of those procedures. • Led an ad hoc team of 30 personnel to meet the 24-hour support needs of more than 1,000 onboarding personnel. Implemented new procedures to maintain 100% operational capacity despite widespread public health challenges.
