I’m 𝗡𝗶𝗰𝗸, a family man, foodie, empath, leader, and connector of people. I’m also a technology sales enthusiast (and a recovering workaholic). I grew up in a difficult, abusive household where I faced homelessness, abandonment, and trauma. Back then, I never believed I would achieve much. Joining the US Navy changed everything. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝘁𝗮𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗺𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲𝘀, 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 — lessons I carry with me every day. (They also taught me fitness, though I still love beer and meatballs 🍺) I brought those lessons into my civilian career, and the rest is history. Augustine IT began in 2000 when our founder realized IT service providers in Cincinnati were failing their clients on two fronts: process & people skills. Bill kept hearing about existing vendors being unresponsive and unreliable. Work requests would get lost or go days without resolution. The same tech problems would reappear time and again because the root problems never got fixed. All of this led to negative impacts costing businesses in Cincinnati millions of dollars. In response, Augustine created Purposeful IT to provide businesses in Cincinnati with secure, reliable, and frictionless technology that supports business objectives. Our clients goals are why we exist. Tech must support client business objectives. To do that it has to be intentional, secure, and service centered.
