Hi and thanks for viewing my profile. I help law firms win new business by communicating with their clients through legal newsletters, website and blog articles, press releases, social media feeds etc. I also provide media training courses on getting coverage in local newspapers, and on conducting radio and television interviews. I have a wide experience in journalism having worked as a reporter and news editor with ITV Central Television, as well as several newspapers and radio stations. With my team at Media Coverage, I specialise in writing news articles about legal developments and designing newsletters that law firms can send to their clients. Our articles are also used as news sections on law firm websites, blogs and twitter feeds. Our articles are not aimed at solicitors; they’re aimed at solicitors’ clients. We take great delight in being able to turn complicated legal cases into concise, readable articles that everyone can understand. On a personal note, I’m married to Maggie and have three kids, all grown up and flown the nest. I’m a big Nottingham Forest fan and still managing to delude myself that I’m not too old to play football every Monday night. I play guitar, badly – but I keep on trying. Author of two sports books. Media Coverage specialises in providing design and editorial services for law firms. We produce both print and email newsletters featuring the latest legal developments for law firms to send to their clients. We also design brochures, write law news articles and press releases for law firms, and provide media training for solicitors. We have provided media training for the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers, several regional law societies and have helped more than 100 law firms raise their media profile.

Radio Nottingham was my first job in broadcasting. It gave me a good grounding in radio reporting and production.
I started as a journalist at the Telegraph &n Argus in Bradford. I gained my NCTJ qualification there and also learned a great deal about newspaper design and production.
