I bring 15 years’ experience in strategy, policy, design and operations and organisational transformation in education, health and human services. I’ve had a diverse career. I am currently in a strategy and delivery leadership role for early childhood education at the NSW Department of Education. Before then, I directed and managed complex, high-priority projects at Nous for six years. I was also a board director of a medium-sized NFP that provides child and family services. Before consulting, I was both a public servant and a ministerial adviser in the Australian Government, a deputy principal of a Bronx high school, and manager of Aboriginal youth community programs in far western NSW.
Strategy and delivery for early childhood education policy and sector reform.
I advised organisations operating in highly regulated sectors—especially education, health and human services. My focus was public policy development and review, strategy, business operations, and organisational transformation.
Weldon is a medium-sized NFP organisation that provides early childhood education and care, out of school hours care, and community services across Sydney, as well as a sector recruitment agency Worked with my fellow board directors to govern, direct and monitor the organisation's overall performance, as well as its compliance with legal, regulatory and industry obligations. I worked with the board and executive to navigate a series of major industry issues while acquiring new businesses, modernising the organisation, and sharpening our offer to families.
