Worked desktop support on the UBS stamford Trading floor. This is the largest trading floor in the Northern Hemisphere! Performed Desktop and network trouble shooting duties in a highly competitive and motivated environment for 7 years. Executive level support, fullfilling all the IT requirements required to setup and sustain temporary off-site board meatings with full remote access connections back to the UBS network. My final year at UBS was spent preparing and verifying that equipment was in place and available for disaster recovery scenarios for the Fixed Income (FI) Stream. Managed the PC builds deployment schedules liasioning with the business managers and the techs to ensure equipment was provided to the fixed income stream for the Americas region.
As a contractor completed all tasks associated with troubleshooting fixing and building computers on the GE corporate trading floor. Responsible for servicing a 300 person user base for the Corporate services division of GE. Primary project work was upgrading and securing all technology equipment to be y2k compliant.
