Responsible for the delivery of training and checking on Airbus fleets for Qatar Airways as well as the role of Chief Flight Instructor for the Qatar Airways ATO. Duties and responsibilities including: • Overseeing and managing delivery of initial and recurrent training and checking of over 2000 pilots on A320, A330, A350 and A380 fleets at Qatar Airways • Ensuring compliance of Operations Manual Part D and ATO manual with QCAA regulations • Monitoring application of flight training standards and consistency of flight/simulator training across the Airbus fleets • Establishing and maintaining implementation of Evidence Based Training program for recurrent training • Ensuring standardisation of Instructors on Airbus fleets, through regular meetings and annual appraisal interviews • Establishing department and team objectives to support and align with business objectives • Working with external training organisations for the delivery of the Qatar Airways MPL program • Maintaining a close working relationship with Fleet, Safety, Manpower and Technical departments to ensure training delivered meets company requirements • Monitoring training records and ensuring their completion and preservation • Liaising with external parties for delivery of training, ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory requirements • Conducting audits and standardisation of training delivered by external training providers
Leader of the team responsible for the creation and maintenance of EBT recurrent training program across Airbus and Boeing fleets in Qatar Airways. • Leading team of 6 subject matter experts in delivery of training program • Ensuring compliance with regulations • Innovating delivery of training program to meet company requirements • Analysing training data to enhance program delivery • Holding regular meetings with all stakeholders to enhance safety of operations and improve flight standards
