• Supported the group marketing director in project scoping, annual planning reviews, capital submissions and lifecycle checking during implementation of an online programme to subsidiary with varying turnover of between €1 Million and €30 Million p.a. Successfully achieving an online presence in 32 countries over five years. • Co-ordinated quarterly steering groups with the group marketing director, preparing international perspectives, capturing output from meetings, and following up on actions & outputs. • Influenced, by persuading C level stakeholders, the group business development strategy specifically with regards B2C. • Responsible for the annual statutory external audit reviews as a result of controlling all month end and year end procedures via SAP financial accounting (FI) and controlling (CO) applications. • Submitted annual, quarterly, and monthly group reporting requirements via SAP business warehouse (BW) application and using Microsoft Excel following on from Balance sheet and P&L account reconciliations in preparation of the monthly management accounts for the use of senior management as a decision-making tool. • Reconciled sterling and foreign currency bank accounts leading to daily, monthly, and annual cash flow projections, authorisation of payments and the monitoring of global markets leading to the buying and selling of foreign currency. (Predominantly the Euro and US Dollar). This resulted in a transition from a negative cash flow in 2002 to a positive cashflow from 2008. • Team leader of both the purchase and sales ledger teams. • HR responsibilities included implementation of fully automating HR and payroll systems, maintaining responsibility of the processing of monthly and weekly payrolls, including the annual and monthly statutory returns. Prepared all new and existing employee Contracts, Job descriptions and Inductions, applying processes for sickness, absence, and disciplinary actions. This contributed to staff sickness absence reducing by up to 60% over 5 years and the average length of service on a consistent upward trajectory. • Sub project management tasks included successfully implemented SAP ERP system migrating the financials from Sage Line 200
