Leading a multidisciplinary team related to environmental protection and preservation, policy and sustainability; overseeing and managing the team’s work programme. Work closely with the Kaiwhakahaere Te Mana Taiao to support the strategic output of Te Mana Taiao Service. Utalising a deep understanding of environmental and resource management matters grounded in mātauranga Māori, inspired by Ngāti Toa values. Lead the delivery of Te Mana Taiao projects, guide resource management responses, coach kaimahi, foster strong stakeholder relationships, and advocate for the interest of Ngāti Toa in environmental kaupapa, contributing to the long-term wellbeing and prosperity of the iwi.
