    As the Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Deputy CEO of an Industry Superannuation Fund, I was responsible for the full suite of activity within a profit-for-members superannuation fund including the financial management, risk management, internal and external audit, human resource management, management of an outsourced ICT function and stakeholder management of the fund. I worked directly with the Trustee Board and the CEO, to ensure that the Fund was managed efficiently and could achieve its strategic, operational, financial and investment objectives. I was responsible for accounting & business operations functions including the preparation of financial statements, taxation, payroll, treasury and procurement on a daily basis. I had oversight of the accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll functions. As a leader during a period of significant change, achievements included the implementation of a fee cap on admin expenses for high-balance members, project management of a merger with a larger fund ensuring member's best financial interests were maintained, project management of an admin transition and, implementation and maintenance of a best practice risk management framework. Further business and process improvements were identified in the period that allowed for the implementation of an effective ICT strategy and member outcome frameworks for the fund.
