• Responsible for developing and implementing the University’s Information Strategy, delivering significant improvements to the student experience through portal access to targeted information, and provision of a rich online environment to enable continuous course and module evaluation • Set and delivered against a Department KPI of a 5% like-for-like revenue saving per annum on IT license and contract spend, including a £500k saving over five years through contract renegotiation • Championed the need and secured funding for a three-year Technology to Enhance Learning Programme • Successfully delivered the first year of the TEL programme transitioning to an integrated electronic submission system between the student learning and administration system, delivering on-line integrated module guides and putting in place the technical enablers for online media content, lecture capture and resource list management to support the learning design work in year two of the programme • Deliver to defined service level agreements for system uptime, desktop performance and incident response through a mixed-skill front line service of library and IT staff • Put skills in place to refresh the policy and security environment moving towards Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation during 2019 • Achieved better than benchmark NSS results in a tight financial environment and delivered highest internal customer satisfaction scores for any professional service at the University • Successfully engaged staff in a complex IT and Library restructure with positive engagement evident in the subsequent change survey • Leadership and management of around 100 staff including integrated student placements, library professionals and technical experts
