Main point of contact for partner Less-than-Truckload (LTL) carriers. Responsible for collaborating with internal sales, assessment, on-boarding, and account management teams to deliver pricing solutions for clientele. Responsible for pricing new enterprise opportunities, managing and executing LTL RFP process, contract review and entry.
Supervise department personnel and oversee all department activities. Develop and work on projects that create greater electronic integration across all platforms. Collaborate with Sales department to ensure prospect studies are satisfactorily completed. Perform pricing analysis for various stakeholders inside the company. Authorize and maintain LTL, truckload, & expedite carrier pricing within UTS systems. Oversee negotiations of carrier contracts, pricing, and RFP’s. Assist Sales department with client reviews, presentations, and prospect sales calls. Review new client pricing after 90 days and compare with sales proposal to ensure UTS savings and margin projections are being met. Monitor department group emails and address issues, delegating to department personnel if necessary
Procure and maintain LTL carrier resources to support client transportation needs. Ensure that carrier pricing and service data is properly structured and maintained to return consistent and accurate information to be utilized internally and externally for carrier selection, payment, and analysis operations.
