I was recruited by the Regional Director to help him grow the London business as the Head of Permanent Recruitment for the London office. In this role I was tasked to recruit, grow and build IT vertical recruitment markets across ERP, Netsuite, Microsoft Dynamics, workday as well as some other key verticals. • Day to day management of a team of 5 vertical Recruiters and a junior delivery consultant • Work closely with recruiters and set out there monthly career plans, goals for the year with our internal R&D Manager • Create, implement and measure day to day recruitment account plans for my team, including expectation setting, providing support structure and process • Run daily huddles on recruitment stats and deal pipelines • Impart instrumental experience and recruitment knowledge to the team, by the way of training, coaching, motivating and general support that drives team success • Work with Regional Director on the business 2020 growth strategy, drive best practices for the business in a leadership capacity • Build and develop strategic relationships with new and existing clients face to face and telephone • Achieve monthly team and personal targets set by the business • Recruitment and Headhunting hard to fill roles that fell out of team’s verticals which I managed end to end
The Launch Group of companies are service based organisations focusing in ICT in Australia, New Zealand and Singapore. The group is comprised of Launch Recruitment, Launch Professional Services and Launch Technical Services. As a senior member of staff, I simultaneously perform the roles of the Telecommunications Account Director for the Nokia Account and the Telco Practice Team Manager in NSW. I am regarded as a Thought Leader and integrally involved in Launch's strategic direction. I am also involved in the initiation of the Launch Technical Services market offering, OnDemand Flexible Resourcing, and have personally developed and managed a number of innovative non-recruitment business solutions to customers within the Telecommunications space. I provide recruitment services to a range of high-profile customers in the Telecommunications and Construction industry including Nokia, Optus, NBN and NSW Government Agencies. My role encompasses managing, mentoring and coaching three recruitment consultants, business development and sales strategy. My achievements include being Launch Recruitment’s top recruitment professional for the last 4 consecutive years, with gross margin billings in excess of $1.2 million per annum as well as consistently receiving amongst the highest customer and contractor ratings in Launch Recruitment's bi-annual customer satisfaction ratings.
