Recently successfully completed an FAA approved Remote Pilot - Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems Ground School - Code of Federal Regulations (CFR Title 14) - Part 107, Certified Commercial Drone Pilot for operations in U,S. National Air Space. This FAA approved ground school was done through the Delaware Technical CC Workforce Development Division, Owens Campus, Georgetown, De. Grade was an A- . Completed testing at the designated official site in my area, and Passed the FAA Remote Airman certification standards exam - on the first try - in June 2018. Currently working on piloting skills and control console operation on various sUAV systems by several different manufacturers. in preparation for employment on a commercial drone crew, or for my own possible start-up drone service business.

Built up a long term residual account which allowed me to retire from the industry early in order to engage in other business and personal persuits.
Full responsibility for developing a territory for this new mobile vascular diagnostic testing service within a 4 State region of the Northeastern U.S. Coordinated development of marketing liturature, business cards, stationary and office signs for distribution to client physicians in private and group practice offices. Evaluation and purchased all necessary testing equipment and supplies, including doppler, b-mode & duplex ultrasound modalities, as well as plethesmography, thermography and other diagnoatic tests. Participated in extensive training in the use of all testing modalities relating to the diagnosis and treatment of vascular disease. Studied vascular technology with the labs physician owners, while simultaneously working full time within our territory directly marketing our service to specialties including Internal Medicine, General/Family Practice, Vascular Surgeons and others, in both private practices and groups, as well as nursing home and extended care facility staff physicians.. Organized data collected by technologists and submitted to our staff specialists, who then generate the detailed reports using comprehensive diagnistic criteria to provide an accurate diagnosis. Maintained strict turn round time to provide the highest quality of care possible for patients, Developed a client base of over 100 locations within a tri - state region approximately covering an 80 mile radious of Philadedelphia, Pa. and Cherry Hill N.J., through both cold calling and referrals, within a 2 year period after opening our lab. Represented our company at 10 -12 regional medical conventions and educational seminars annually. Continuously promoted our services by maintaining close personal relationships with all clients through frequent office visits, lunch and dinner meetings, and casual meetings over coctails, as well as attendence at professional sporting events, plays, and other venues in the local region.
Opened new contemporary retail art gallery and custom picture framing business in order to utilize the experience gained from my lifelong study and enjoyment of fine art and decor, which began with art history studies in college. Interviewed, and subsequently hired 2 full, and 4 part time employees, and provided training and ongoing supervision as required, while also managing all aspects of the business including budgetary, purchasing, bookeeping, order fullfillment system, computers, and all other office record keeping and equipment requirements. At this time in my llife I was putting in in excess of 70 hours per week in order to maintain my other career as well as management responsibility for this new shop. participated in formal training in custom framing techniques, art preservation/restoration, as well as 4 - 6 trade shows and conventions annually.
