I started out as a CAD designer working with Engineers. I would receive mark-ups from Engineers and put the designs in CAD. I worked my way up and became a designer. The Engineers could then just give me the equipment details for a job and I would design the systems myself and then put that design in CAD. We started using REVIT around 2008 and I became well versed in how Revit works. Revit is more of a Designers program.
