I have an IT engineering and project management background stretching back over 20 years in high level, high budget and high pressure environments. In particular, for the last 10 years I have been running projects and managing support structures according to the ITIL framework. My experience as an external ICT Management consultant to varied organizations such as law firms, medical practices and school environments has enabled me to develop a range of strategic approaches to bring to bear in a range of vastly differing environments. I have found they have served me admirably in my move to the United States, where I have successfully integrated into multinational companies. Now, I am entering into the next phase of my life, heading to the European nation of Malta! I am a strong believer in the concept of the formation of ideas to solve problems, and have previously had success in solving problems through understanding abstract relationships and approaching issues from multiple angles. I am also aware that members of my team, or other support units I would come into contact with, may have skills in a particular area that rival or eclipse my own. I value knowledge transfer between team members very highly, and look forward to the opportunity to both mentor and learn where appropriate. I am comfortable making the distinction between recognizing a staff member for his or her knowledge, and ensuring work processes don't deviate from the business unit technical plan.
