    Interim Director of a grade 1 listed 500 acre park and gardens and associated trading company. Initial role was to review business options for the Trust, and to act as a trouble shooter and problem solver, but within weeks it was apparent that the Trust could not continue as a going concern and my role has become the lead on the managed wind down and eventual dissolution of the Trust. This involves a negotiated solution for a new owner of the estate and the gardens and the unwinding of ten years of funding agreements, lottery grants and land and estate issues.

    Chief Executive Officer of Cultural Charity running four museums, turnover of c £3.5M, staff of 110, audiences over 1 million. Winners of Family Friendly Museum of the Year. Trustee of Museums Libraries and Archives Council and past Trustee of Heritage Lottery Fund. Almost 30 years' experience in Arts and Museums, with more than half of these in a Senior Management capacity.

    Asked to become the Interim Executive Director tasked with undertaking a fundamental review of the Service and its prospects and recommending and implementing a rescue package involving restructuring and improving the newly created Derby Museums Trust and building an organisation that is/was sustainable and resilient. Key projects were the first phase development of the Silk Mill and subsequent lottery bid, a turnaround in the audience numbers and fortune of the museum and art gallery and the promotion of Joseph Wright of Derby.Also tasked with external partnerships and local authority relationships.
