My current role centers on managing animation projects, together with planning and overseeing the execution of yearly content plans for the website and companion app. An important component of my remit is facilitating the delivery of multiple product launches and steering content activations and go-to-market campaigns. Related to this, I write, produce, and publish content to tell brand and product stories for the website and app. Similarly, I generate content pools to facilitate product presentations that I deliver to the press at digital and live events and to sales departments at company-wide meetings. Behind the scenes, I enjoy my work conceptualizing and shaping product marketing campaigns and brand messaging and informing new product development direction. I do so by conducting market research and competitive analysis, testing and reviewing prototypes, and writing reports to gather feedback from field testing and suggest improvements. All of my work involves close collaboration with Marketing, R&D, Product Management, Industrial Design, and Artwork departments.
As a freelancer providing consultancy services, I shaped PR and communication strategies for marketing and PR agencies and companies, including INSCYD, a Swiss performance analysis software for endurance sports. This role also allowed me to write and edit scripts and texts for PR, product presentations, internal communication, and sales meetings. I maximized organizations’ engagement with their customers through social media management, including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. I also managed events for product launches in the UK and overseas, encompassing venue scouting, press outreach, and project management. Finally, I facilitated events in London for journalists to support product launches.
In these roles, I wrote, produced, and published articles on several topics, including travel, sports, politics, and investigations. These articles were published in high-profile newspapers such as The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Guardian, La Stampa, La Repubblica, Il Giornale, and Libération. Sporting publications – including Red Bull, Rouleur, Procycling, Bike Radar, Cycling Weekly, Cyclingtips, Cyclist Magazine, 220 Triathlon, Triathlete US – also used my work, as did broadcasters operating globally, such as the BBC and CNN. I also pitched story ideas and data visualization projects to clients across various sectors in collaboration with graphic designers and developers. As in other more recent roles, I presented products on camera and to the press at digital and live events. Related to this, I filmed and edited videos to support texts and managed social media channels.
