-Created lessons which were used for 5th and 6th graders across the organization in the 2020-2021 school year -Coordinated activities, materials, and schedules for 43 volunteers who implement a rigorous curriculum for over 70 middle school aged scholars -Oversaw implementation of curriculum by writing various materials synthesizing curriculum for volunteers, leading volunteer trainings, facilitating formal observations, and writing weekly newsletters -Assisted the development department on various projects, includes representing Higher Achievement at a Junior League of Washington presentation where we successfully earned a grant of $15,000 -Produced various Salesforce reports to engage on research projects such as scholar attendance audits and scholar academic gain evaluations
-Responsible with the daily operations of the highest producing office in the 2018 election cycle, second highest in the country’s history, knocking on the doors of 314,000 voters -Coordinated the daily activities of over 50 interns by ensuring materials were prepared and expectations were clearly set each day -Recruited 880 volunteer shifts, creating a base of over 400 active volunteers for the office -Organized various events out of the office, including canvass launches with Claire McCaskill and Cort VanOstran as keynote speakers -Led volunteer trainings, including the Claire McCaskill and Cort VanOstran canvass launches, both of which saw upwards of 100 volunteers
-Drafted and sent letters to executives of special interests groups, caucuses within the General Assembly, and constituents -Wrote end of session materials, including a piece for the Montgomery County Delegation detailing Delegate Queen’s 2018 session accomplishments -Created a database logging the interests and contact information of over 2,000 constituents -Researched and tracked various bills
-Recruited, screened, and selected intern applicants -Trained interns and volunteers on canvassing prospective voters and entering data effectively -Organized materials for volunteers and interns by selecting which targeted voters would be chosen for canvassing packets -Telephoned 5,947 prospective volunteers to build the campaign -Arranged meetings with diverse community organizations as part of the campaign’s network-based recruitment
