• Lead, manage and develop a team of 12 QA & QC personnel. • Oversee and provide Quality Leadership to ensure the production of high quality, safe and legally compliant products for Tee Yih Jia Food Manufacturing and it's subsidiaries. • Collaborate with various departments including production, shipping, warehouse and maintenance department to ensure compliance to quality, safety and regulatory requirements. • Lead continuous improvement to meet the desired product quality, safety, regulatory and customer expectations. • Provide governance of the Food Safety Management System, HACCP and Halal Quality Management System and lead the development and implementation of standards in the plant. • Lead and manage all external audits including 3rd Party(BRC,HALAL), Customer and Regulatory(SFA) audits. • Serve as first point of contact for all customer quality inquiries and ensuring timely and professional response to Customer Complaints. • Lead QA Team to conduct GMP, Facility, Supplier and HACCP audits. • Lead QA Team in the application of relevant regulatory licenses, foreign licenses and registrations (eg. FDA) and export health and phytosanitary certificate application. • Provide advice for regulatory, artwork, nutrition and labelling requirements. Achievements: • Key Team Member in commissioning of state-of-art Spring Roll Pastry plant with 50% increased production capacity. • Successfully obtained SFA - Food Establishment and Cold store licenses for new plant.
• Oversee and Manage daily operations of 7 production departments to meet customer's requirement for product quality and delivery timeliness. • Provide strong leadership to employees on the production floor, ensuring high morale, teamwork, good employee relations, and promote team collaboration across the organization. • Developing, implementing and monitoring of quality standards, production SOP, guidelines and work instructions. • Identify, initiate and participate in continuous improvement program, cost reduction, yield and productivity improvement projects with supporting departments to optimize manufacturing operations. • Manage discipline, training, succession planning and organization of 73 work force. • Ensure complete compliance to approved QMS, HACCP, GMP and 5s programs. • Effectively plan and manage production schedule to achieve highest productivity. • Collaborate and work closely with cross functions to resolve daily production issues. • Ensure safety awareness of working conditions and production operations for the safety of employees.

SQMS etc.) • Conduct appropriate training in all aspects of quality systems and programs to ensure compliance with established quality process/procedures. • Plan and conduct supplier audits to ensure compliance to internally established standards • Serve as first point of contact for all customer quality inquiries and ensuring timely and professional response to Customer Complaints. • Lead QA Team to conduct Internal Quality, GMP and HACCP audits. Achievements: Lead a team of 11 QA executives to develop and implement QMS, HACCP, FSMS and part of new state-of-art plant commissioning team. Lead and passed McDonald’s audit for new state-of-art plant. Lead and passed all 3rd party and 2nd party audits including unannounced audits.
• Involved in product Research, Improvement & Development of margarine products complying with food regulations (artwork, nutrition etc.) and quality standards. • Provide training to new joiners, sales and marketing team on basics of oil and fat and new products. • Lead in developing quality processing parameters for margarine products conducting trouble-shooting on processing, manufacturing control. • Coordinate with sales & marketing on product development matters and provide technical support for customers as required. • Support QA team in quality control of internal manufactured products. • Collaborate with pilot plant engineer for new products trial and perform evaluation of products. • Conduct sample analysis for margarine products and product matching. • Plan and assist in application and sensory test of margarine products.
