Over 13 years I have had the tremendous opportunity to build and hone a diverse set of skills related to working as a member of a Student Support Services or Counseling department. I have enjoyed a plethora of very positive and rewarding positions while working to enhance my professional skill set and background. Ranging from Mental health Counseling, to the full scope of School Counseling (pre-k - high school/college), every one of these roles has afforded me an outstanding and humbling opportunity to join students in their journey through intellectual and cognitive development and exploration. My empathetic, compassionate and positive personality strongly lends itself to highly positive student and family outcomes. Over the past two years in particular, I have been very fortunate to have received written endorsements from students, parents, and faculty members, all of whom highlighted my professional demeanor, dedication to seeing every challenge overcome and my caring and compassionate interactions in every situation. My professional path has enabled me to develop a high level of competence with regards to public speaking, crisis intervention and leadership as well as a high degree of competency in individual, small group and large settings. I am eagerly looking forward to continuing my professional path with the hopes that I will instill in children and their families as well as fellow faculty and administrators with the knowledge that they have someone working with them or by their side who is truly dedicated to doing their best to achieve the best possible outcome for everyone they are associated with. To sum up my belief in the work that I am privileged to be able to take part in, I believe that I serve as an advocate and resource for students, families and faculty members.

After completing my time as a long term replacement School Counselor, the board of education and Superintendent were gracious enough to see fit to offer me continued employment with MontclIe Public Schools.
Elementary School Counselor at Lincoln-Hubbard and Brayton Elementary Schools. Both buildings serve students from first grade through fifth grade.
Leave replacement School Counselor for k-8th grade school. This is a half year position that ends with the start of the new year.
