I am pursuing a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering, at my Alma mater, under Dr. James Braun. I have been an undergraduate researcher for the latter two years of my undergraduate degree. I researched unsteady fluid mechanics during my junior year. For my senior year, I designed a water-cooling system for a rotating detonation engine (RDE). I also gained valuable work experience as a systems technician for precision automation technology utilizing GPS and LASERs; working there for 2.5 years, after I graduated with an Associate degree in engineering. I have extensive knowledge in math, physics, chemistry, biology, & technology.
Researching unsteady fluid mechanics under a PHD professor. Developing tools to form and analyze spray patterns. While, using Particle Image Velocimetry (PIVlab) to resolve flow characteristics. The research, if funded, would lead to a larger project focused on the lift degradation of helicopter blades in rainstorms. The project would be a center-point to my pursuit of a PhD in experimental fluid dynamics. Developed an experiment and procedure to examine vortex formation, separation, and propagation on a beveled disk. Found correlations of vortex propagation speed to disk/airfoil speed, along with pressure and vorticity distributions, using Particle Image Velocimetry.
Assembling, verifying, and preparing of all GPS- or Robotic-Machine Control Automation systems for heavy machinery, including: hydraulic components, electrical sensors, & cable harnesses. Topcon machine automation and GPS equipment. Testing, servicing, and calibrating ultra-precise measuring tools: laser, optical, & GPS devices. Training new hires about GPS transceivers, machine control, and electrical troubleshooting.
Instilling good practice habits, teaching advanced stroke mechanics, and providing valuable growth opportunities, to the athletes of three main groups, aged 6-12. Allocated to assume the leadership position for short durations or the rest of the practices.
Taught each age group introductions to stroke mechanics, race strategies, and practice habits. Prepared the pool for practice and meets, including arranging the flags, inserting lane lines, and extracting pool equipment. Developed strong interpersonal skills and effective communication skills with both young children and their parents, effectively managing both the team and my fellow coaches.
Provided scheduled chemical analysis of the pool while supporting the pool, deck, and patrons.
