I am an aspiring engineer with a strong background in maths, physics and engineering activities.
I am an Associate Member of the Guild of Aviation Artists. I have sold several pieces of art and exhibited at the Guild annual exhibition in central London. I have also attended sketching days at aircraft museums across southeast England. In summer 2023, I took part in the televised Landscape Artist of the Year competition.
I learned about the different jobs available at Airbus through live webinars, which improved my knowledge of the breadth of the aerospace sector. I also designed a sustainable aircraft and a moon base, which taught me how to create a design from scratch and how to think outside the box when designing new technology.
This programme involved a residential stay at the university, including activities that prepared me for higher education, such as lectures on finance and student experience. I also learned what it's like to live in a campus flat for several days.
