I am a mentor for underclassman who were selected for a competitive program focused on career placements in Investment Banking, Private Equity, and Big 4 audit/consulting. Current students have received interviews and offers at nearly every major Bulge Bracket Investment bank for the Summer of 2024. My work is related to resume building; cover letter writing; and developing networking strategy. Over the course of a 10-week period, I will provide over 200 direct hours of work for my cohort of students.
Highest rated individual debater in the United States in American Parliamentary Debate, occupying that position for 2 consecutive academic seasons. As VP of education, I handled the development of new and current debaters; correspondence with our coach; and delivered lectures on topics related to American Parliamentary Debate (APDA) Additionally, managed a team of over 70 members and a budget of over $40,000. TDS is the largest non-athletic competitive extra-curricular on campus and was founded in 1901.
I have led the Tufts University Debate Society (TDS) as President for 2 years. As president, I managed a team of more than 70 members. In addition to this, I communicated directly with the University and other debate organizations to manage our tournament and budget. Finally, I oversaw the entire executive board and saw our budget grow by more than 100% YoY.
As the VP of Operations, I managed all of the travel and budgetary filing of the team. This involved over 100 individual travel plans and invoices for an entire competitive season.
The Tufts Financial Group (TFG) is the largest finance-related extra-curricular on campus. Here, I developed broad technical financial knowledge; attended seminars taught by industry experts; and worked with other students to prepare for a career in financial services. Additionally, I completed the career development program and am a member of the Venture Capital/Private Equity club.
