I supported and maintained one of Whistl’s mainstream internal products that facilitated the planning, delivery and tracking of mail as well as logging activity that ultimately provided the basis for the delivery operatives’ pay. Originally written in C# ASP.NET (.NET 3.5) using Visual Studio 2010, the web application was migrated to .NET 4.5 using Visual Studio 2013, and also made use of SSDT as well as SSRS. The source code was in the process of being refactored using the DDD model with the ultimate goal of re-writing the front-end using Angular and associated technologies when the E2E division was unfortunately shutdown.
I maintained several internal production tools (written in C# .NET 2.0/4.0 using Visual Studio 2010), which enabled the data research department to compile information, which was subsequently used by the mainstream desktop and on-line products. Written in C# ASP.NET (.NET 2.0) using Visual Studio 2010, I was also part of a team that supported Autodata’s internal product registration tool, which interfaced to a SQL Server database. I also maintained (bug fixing / enhancements) Autodata’s mainstream Windows desktop product, CD/DVD (written in Delphi XE), which provided users with the ability to view technical automotive information for many manufacturers and models.
