Mount Pleasant, Michigan, United States
Hi, my name is Nicholas Cockerel. I am working towards a bachelor's and master's degree in accounting at Central Michigan University. While working towards my degree I am also on the Cross Country and Track team at Central Michigan University. Being a student-athlete has allowed me to learn how to manage multiple different commitments and be successful in both. Additionally, being an athlete has allowed me to learn to be a better team player, have stronger communication skills, and grow as a leader. These are all skills that I actively look to improve because they will help me in a personal and professional arena. Here is a little bit more about who I am. I am a hard-working individual with strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills. I have worked in a handful of jobs that helped me increase and sharpen my communication and problem-solving skills. I am always willing to put in the extra work to make sure the job/task is done to the best of my ability. I am also an open-minded person who is eager to learn and grow. I am not afraid to ask for help from anyone who can help me. After earning my degree, I look forward to finding a job that allows me to display my skills and help the organization I work for. Hopefully, the transferable and specific skills that I have learned from athletics, previous jobs, and my degrees allow me to be a good coworker and employee. Thank you, Nicholas Cockerel
