Singapore
I am a Chemical Engineering undergraduate at the National University of Singapore (NUS), currently pursuing a specialisation in Process Engineering. I am particularly interested in the semiconductor and chemicals industries, where process optimisation, operational efficiency and safety are critical to large-scale manufacturing performance. Through my experience as a Process Engineer at Sembcorp, I gained exposure to real-world plant operations, process monitoring and engineering problem-solving in an industrial environment. This experience strengthened my understanding of process systems beyond the classroom and developed my ability to translate engineering theory into practical solutions. Beyond technical training, I actively take on leadership roles. As Vice Project Director in the NUS Chemical Engineering Student Society (ChESS), I lead teams in planning initiatives, manage event logistics and stakeholder coordination. I also serve as a Student Ambassador for the NUS College of Design and Engineering, representing the faculty at outreach and engagement events. I am motivated by opportunities that allow me to apply engineering principles to optimise processes, improve sustainability and contribute to impactful industrial operations.
