Greater Seattle Area
I initially followed finance path: BS in Finance, followed by a MS in Finance, both at Bocconi University, internship in an M&A boutique in Milan, Italy. Something was missing though and I decided to take an internship in corporate finance at Amazon EU HQ in Luxembourg. It was clear on Day 1 the role was data heavy. I had to pick SQL up on the go and there I found what I was missing: connecting big data with decision-making people. And that was it: the spark was ignited and I kept learning new skills and tools since then, moving to Seattle and transitioning to Business Intelligence in the meanwhile. I love sitting down with my business partners to understand what they need to make quick, data-backed decisions, gather data in a pipeline and showcase results in an intuitive dashboard that can unlock different angles and insights. My strengths include expanding my skills, learning new ones and apply them to problem solving and dive deep. Since COVID hit I picked up Python and Machine Learning in my spare time and completed a Certification with DataQuest for Data Science & Coursera for Machine Learning, which were pivotal in my recent transition to a Data Science & ML career. I have recently transitioned to a full time Data Scientist role
