I hold a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from the University of Aberdeen and am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Energy Systems at the National University of Singapore. My academic and professional journey is driven by a passion for the energy sector as a whole, spanning both traditional and renewable energy. During my internship at TotalEnergies, I applied my engineering expertise to real-world energy challenges, focusing on enhancing project outcomes and operational efficiency. I gained valuable experience using tools such as MATLAB, SOLIDWORKS, and AutoCAD to streamline processes and deliver results. My experience as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Aberdeen honed my leadership and mentoring skills, contributing to a 100% pass rate in the modules I supported. At Faci Asia Pacific Pte Ltd, I led process improvement initiatives by leveraging data analysis to propose innovative digital tracking solutions. I am committed to continuous learning and applying my skills to contribute to the evolving energy industry, driving innovation and sustainable solutions across the sector.
▪ ICV Lead-Time Improvement Lead (1st Rotation), Singapore ▪ Warehouse Layout Optimisation Lead (2nd Rotation), Singapore
▪ Assisted project managers in planning, coordinating, and executing up to 20 solar energy projects, each with capacities reaching up to 2 MWp. ▪ Engaged with suppliers and vendors to procure necessary materials and equipment, negotiating contracts to minimise costs and maximise project efficiency. ▪ Applied strong problem-solving skills to ensure project timelines were met and quality standards maintained, contributing to the successful implementation of sustainable energy solutions.
▪ Mentored students of different engineering fields, guiding them in the proficient utilisation of SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and MATLAB, resulting to a 100% pass rate in their respectful module.
▪ Proactively investigated process failures on-site or through the analysis of data in SCADA, to provide recommendations for suitable solutions or corrective actions. ▪ Created and proposed digital data tracking by updating plant production records through Microsoft Excel with the intention of improving data accessibility and ease of analysis.
▪ Led the administration, operations, and welfare of over 30 men between the age of 18 to 26 ensuring their readiness and well-being while achieving task objectives. ▪ Optimized delegation and work efficiency within the platoon by strategically assigning 7 new specialized roles to troops, enhancing overall unit performance and mission success.
