Developed, ideated improvements and new applications for cavitation-based surface finishing techniques in fluid mediums. Simulated & analysed multiple cases of multiphase flows in CFD software for optimisation and predictive purposes. Took on the role of equipment owner for our high-pressure surface finishing machine in addition to a PLA 3D-printer.
Assisted in pilot machine operation for membrane fabrication, and contributed to membrane development ideas. Characterised and performed quality check on the produced membranes using high-pressure water systems. Meticulous handling and mixing of chemical substances were done as part of lab-scale production.
