  • Administration Assistant at Robinson Brothers Limited

A full-time summer position working within the Customer Services and Research and Development departments. My main duties were creating a more user-friendly way of accessing files and batch sheets, digitising contracts and assisting with the preparation of the company’s 150-year celebration. The work produced during this role enabled both departments to run more efficiently through producing a logical filing system which saved the user valuable time. I also assisted in the transition to a digital system of recording contracts, setting up a system which is still updated regularly. When reorganising contracts, efficiency and self-imposed time management were key. I was also responsible for the creation and updating of spreadsheets, thus becoming proficient in Excel. Furthermore, I was able to conceptualise the project celebrating the company’s 150-year celebration from start to finish, therefore demonstrating skilled time management through setting realistic goals for the week that fed into larger deadlines.
